Senior Python Playwright Test Automation Engineer (5-7 yrs)

About the Role :

- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Python Playwright Test Automation Engineer to join our dynamic Quality Assurance team.

- As a key member of our QA team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products by designing, developing, and executing robust and maintainable automated tests using Python and Playwright.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive automated test suites using Python and Playwright for web applications.

- Design and implement robust and scalable test automation frameworks.

- Create and maintain test data for automated tests.

- Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.

- Analyze test results, identify and log defects, and track their resolution.

- Implement BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) principles using Specflow with NUnit for test automation.

- Collaborate with developers and product owners to understand requirements and define test scenarios.

- Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases.

- Analyze test results, identify trends, and generate comprehensive test reports.

- Monitor test execution and identify areas for improvement in test coverage and efficiency.

- Provide insights and recommendations to improve software quality and testing processes.

- Collaborate effectively with development, product, and other cross-functional teams.

- Communicate testing progress, issues, and findings effectively to stakeholders.

- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback on code quality and testability.

- Stay updated on the latest testing methodologies, tools, and technologies, including advancements in Playwright and other automation frameworks.

- Continuously improve testing skills and explore new approaches to automation.

Qualifications :

Essential :

- 5+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 3 years of experience in Python and Playwright for test automation.

- Strong proficiency in Python programming and object-oriented programming concepts.

- Extensive experience with Playwright for UI automation, including cross-browser testing and mobile testing.

- Strong understanding of BDD principles and experience with Specflow with NUnit.

- Experience with API testing and tools (e.g, Postman, Swagger).

- Experience with Agile methodologies (e.g, Scrum, Kanban) and CI/CD pipelines.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
