Test Automation Specialist - Playwright Testing (5-8 yrs)

Skills : Automation Testing (Playwright).

Exp : 5-8 Yrs.

N Period : Maximum 1 Month.

Location : Noida/Gurgaon/Hyderabad/Pune.

Responsibilities :

- Create comprehensive functional and integration test cases.

- Review test cases and identify any gaps or complex scenarios.

- Perform test execution, generate test reports.

- Investigate server logs and databases, providing detailed information when reporting bugs.

- Monitor quality metrics, including defect density and the number of open defects.

- Design and implement test automation framework

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive functional and integration test cases using the Playwright framework.

- Create and maintain robust and maintainable automation test scripts.

- Implement and maintain test automation frameworks.

- Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.

- Review test cases and identify any gaps or complex scenarios.

- Execute test cases, analyze test results, and generate comprehensive test reports.

- Investigate and troubleshoot test failures, identifying root causes and reporting bugs effectively.

- Monitor key quality metrics, including defect density, test coverage, and test execution time.

- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and code quality.

- Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to improve the overall quality of software products.

Qualifications :

Experience :

- 5-8 years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience with Playwright.

Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Technical Skills :

- Strong expertise in Playwright test automation framework.

- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript.

- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies (Agile, Scrum, BDD).

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps).

- Experience with other testing tools (Selenium, Appium) is a plus.
