Senior Software Test Analyst - Manual/Automation Testing (6-8 yrs)

Role Description :

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Software Test Analyst with one of our premium client, an IT Product company in Pune. The Senior Software Test Analyst is expected to play an individual contributor (IC) role in quality assurance through test case development, test script/automation development and test execution for new features and regression testing of mobile apps, web sites, middleware, IOT devices.

Key Responsibilities :

- Participate in Scrum, Daily Stand-up, Sprint, and iterative development activities. Collaborate with agile team members, scrum master, developers, and product owners to support quality assurance activities

- Analyze user stories for new features and tickets assigned, develop test cases, verify new features and tickets, and support regression testing

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API platforms using industry-standard tools.

- Expert in test case development, test case optimization, and test case reviews. Ensure full requirements traceability and test coverage.

- Conduct manual and automated testing for frontend (UI/UX) and backend services (APIs, databases).

- Ensure that mobile apps (iOS/Android) comply with platform-specific guidelines and perform optimally on various devices.

- Perform API testing using tools like Postman, Swagger, or equivalent to validate RESTful services.

- Summarize test results. Provide accurate traceability and bug reports for Go/No-Go decisions.

Qualifications & Experience :

- B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Computer Science or related field.

- Strong experience in SAAS based application testing deployed in AWS/Azure platform.

- Experience with SaaS Product testing, API testing, UI/UX testing, Mobile and IoT testing.

- Experience in architecting, implementing solutions/frameworks for front-end and APIs

- Experience in integrating automation suite as part of CI/CD pipeline.

- Experience with implementing continuous integration and build automation systems such as Jenkins/ Bamboo/ Octopus etc.

- Experience with Test Management, Bug Tracking, Collaboration tools (e.g. QMetry, Testrail, Jira,

Confluence), as well as Source Code Management Tools (e.g. Git, TFS, RTC)

- Experience with Selenium to Playwright migration is highly preferred.

- Strong communication and zeal to take ownership in the onshore/offshore working model.
