Markovate - Financial Accountant - CA (2-3 yrs)

Job Description:

- We are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to maintain financial records, manage compliance, and support financial reporting.

- The ideal candidate will have expertise in reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and taxation within the software or IT industry.

- This role requires strong knowledge of ROC, MCA, GST, Income Tax, and international taxation laws, as well as proficiency in Tally and Microsoft Excel.

- The candidate must be based in Delhi or Gurugram.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Maintain financial records and ensure accurate bookkeeping in Tally.

- Assist in preparing financial statements and provide necessary documentation to the Chartered Accountant.

- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, including ROC (Registrar of Companies) and MCA (Ministry of Corporate Affairs).

- Manage tax obligations, stay updated on changes in tax laws, GST, LUT, and RCM, and handle import/export compliance.

- Handle inward remittances (US) and STPI regulations.

- Process monthly payroll, including salary calculations, tax deductions, employee reimbursements, and benefits administration using ZOHO Payroll.

- Support audit processes by providing updated financial documents and verifying accuracy.

- Conduct financial analysis and provide insights for business decision-making.

Skills and Qualifications Required:

- Education - Bachelor's/Master's degree in Accounting.

- Experience - 2-3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the software or IT industry.

- Technical Skills - Proficiency in Tally, Microsoft Excel, and accounting software.

- Knowledge Areas - Strong understanding of ROC, MCA, payroll processes, taxes, GST, Income Tax, LUT, RCM, international taxation laws, and import/export compliance.

- Location - Must be based in Delhi or Gurugram.
