Senior Research Engineer/ Research Engineer

• Design and implement path planning algorithms for autonomous robots, including algorithms for obstacle avoidance and motion planning.
  
• Develop software for real-time processing of sensor data, including cameras, LIDAR, and other sensors.
  
• Collaborate with other engineers to integrate path planning algorithms into larger robotic systems.
  
• Conduct experiments to evaluate and improve the performance of path planning algorithms.
  
• Stay up to date with the latest research in robotics and path planning, and apply new techniques to improve system performance.
• Lead and mentor a team of junior engineers, providing technical guidance and support.
  

Competencies:

• Familiarity with control systems, sensors, and actuators.
  
• Experience with software development for robotic systems, including robot perception, navigation, and control.
  
• Strong programming skills in Python, C++, and ROS2
  
• Experience with path planning algorithms, motion planning, and obstacle avoidance.
  
• Experience with real-time processing of sensor data
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Preferred:

• Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence.
