Manager/Senior Manager - Finance (10-17 yrs)

We have been mandated for the below mentioned role for a leading Pharma company.

Job Summary :

The ideal candidate will be heading the factory finance hrough evaluation of all metrics including revenue and cost drivers, yield, usage, all plant operating expenses to guide and drive better plant performance

Business Partnering:

- Responsible for profitability of plant through evaluation of all metrics including revenue and cost drivers, yield, usage, all plant operating expenses to guide and drive better plant performance. Analyse key variances to understand drivers, discuss on actions to reduce the variance and work with site head to implement the same

- Analysis and review of key performance indicators for plant performance with department managers and heads, tracking initiatives and recommendations for improvement

- Annual budgeting exercise: To lead the annual budgeting exercise for revenue and capital expenses through discussions with the site heads, historical trends in expenses as well as management guidance to be in-line with revenue and recovery, Budgeting for material costs as well as FG Costing & build improvements in-line with guidance

- Working on savings initiatives in terms of identification, alignment and track through for implementation to ensure flow through in financials

- Due diligence and evaluation of CapEx proposals prior to approval for management decision making

Accounting and Closure:

- Closing of monthly financials and accounting in line with corporate timelines & schedule and requirements including reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts. Ensure balance sheet hygiene through regular review of balance sheet items as well as ensure closure of old open items

- Verifying the accuracy of accounting for all expenses including labour and overheads.

- Ensuring compliances related to Direct and Indirect taxes

- Ensure fixed assets tagging, capitalisation and books. Capital IO hygiene through timely closure of Internal orders and surrender of balance budgets to management

- Support the Organisation's PLI Initiative through co-ordination with the central team and providing relevant information from time to time

- GST: Support Taxation team through representations at GST office and participation in hearings

Inventory & Costing:

- Inventory tracking & Ageing analysis, alerts to site leadership for slow moving and non- moving inventory, drive actions for consumption or sell off of the same

- Analysing additions to block stock on monthly basis and ensure additions are reduced year- on-year. Track quality rejections of materials & liaise with stakeholders for return to vendor and recoveries made from them

- Ensure recipes of products are appropriately maintained in terms of process times and correctly reflecting for the costing

Audits & Compliance:

- Liaison with internal auditors & statutory auditors for plant audit, submit the compliances, statements to corporate

- Internal and statutory audit observations to be discussed at site leadership level and actions to be taken for closure of the observations

- Ensure all payments are routed through electronic channels only and all masters are maintained properly

Automation:

- Reduction in manual effort through automated IT reports/dashboards for reports and analytics
