Job Description:
- Work as key member in area of Regulatory Reporting.
- Execution and production of specific capital reporting and analytics for the PRA regulatory requirement.
- Perform the variance analysis or deep-dive analysis required for the purpose of the senior management reporting.
- Support the RWA adjustments or any additional post model adjustments requirement for the capital reporting purpose.
- Project management for regulatory initiatives as required, including Data and Risk I.T requirements.
- Development and implementation of reporting improvements and automation initiatives.
- Ensure all the controls built in for the purpose of the regulatory reporting are met in alignment to the FIM requirements.
- Principal Accountabilities: Key activities and decision making areas.
Impact on the Business/Function:
- Working closely with global and regional teams to support the production of the regulatory reports and relevant variance analysis.
- Delivery of capabilities to allow the Global Retail Credit Risk function to effectively operate and ensure integrity of regulatory reports.
- Ensuring stakeholders and senior management is aware of the key changes that may be required as a part of the Customers / Stakeholders.
- Closely aligning and managing expectation of stakeholders from a Global and Regional perspective.
- Supporting the project managers, business analysts and Regional Model Owners, Model Users, Head of Data Management in the delivery of data projects.
- Assisting in definition of targeted benefits to stakeholders, and ensuring delivery is focused on providing business benefit(s).
Leadership & Teamwork:
- Influencing and collaborating with stakeholders and business partners, building strong relationships to ensure consensus and influencing change outcomes. Fostering open and honest communication which anticipates stakeholder expectations.
- Supporting and facilitating workshops across multiple geographies.
- Pragmatic decision-making capability. Structured and disciplined approach with good attention to detail, this role will require a hands-on approach required and willingness to take personal accountability.
- This will require strong analysis skills and structure to effectively apply solutions to poorly defined problems.
- Supporting project managers / business analysts in the preparation of project status reports, consolidating risk and issues and helping to prepare and consolidate monthly reporting packs.
Typical Targets and Measures:
- Delivery of project requirements in line with Business and Regulatory timetables.
- Completion of key project documentation and deliverables (e.g. business requirements, functional design testing strategies').
- Supporting successful deployment at site and Global Level with measurable business benefits.
- Delivery of a common data model for Retail Risk which would serve regulatory, reporting and modelling requirements.
- Identify, compare, and resolve data quality problems including evaluating large dataset for quality and accuracy.
- Positive customer feedback from stakeholders at all levels.
- Evidence of effective relationship building at all levels.
- Providing accurate and complete reporting with minimal errors.
- Active participation and contribution at key workshops, governance forums and project related meetings.
- Evidence of taking ownership and influencing relevant functional areas.
- Supporting Management Information reporting to appropriate governance committee and senior RBWM Risk managers.
