Quality Assurance Engineer - Functional Testing (4-10 yrs)

Job Description :

- Develop, enhance, and maintain automated test frameworks, tools, and test scripts.

- Design and implement test strategies for functional, integration, regression, performance, and security testing.

- Collaborate with development teams to incorporate test automation into CI/CD pipelines.

- Identify, document, and track bugs and performance issues, working with developers for resolution.

- Perform API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar frameworks.

- Create and execute load and performance tests using JMeter, Gatling, or other similar tools.

- Improve test coverage and drive best practices for test-driven development (TDD) and behavior-driven development (BDD).

- Ensure software applications adhere to security, scalability, and reliability standards.

- Stay updated with emerging test automation tools and technologies to enhance testing strategies.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 3+ years of experience in test automation and software testing.

- Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, or C#.

- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium for UI automation.

- Strong knowledge of API testing frameworks (Postman, Playwright, RestAssured, Karate, etc.).

- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.).

- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.

- Strong understanding of SQL databases and query writing.

- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
