Position: Sales Manager (Gensets).
Location: North India (Delhi NCR/Rajasthan/UP).
About the Role:
- We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead and drive Gensets sales.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible to lead and drive the genset sales operations in defined region.
- Hence, strong background in sales and experience in power generation industry is desired.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets in the North India region.
- Identify and engage with potential clients, including industries, contractors, and distributors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and customers to ensure long-term business growth.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to align strategies accordingly.
- Lead negotiations and close deals effectively, ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and contracts.
- Provide regular sales forecasts and performance reports to the management team.
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, service, logistics) to ensure seamless execution of projects.
- Mentor & train the sales team to enhance their skills and performance.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- MBA is a plus.
- 8-10 years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in genset or power generation sales.
- Proven track record of meeting sales targets.
- Strong knowledge of the state market and customer base.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and lead a team.
