Job Description

Responsibilities Key Deliverables

Lead the conceptualization, proof of concept (POC), and implementation of SCM digitization initiatives including SOP (Kinaxis, IBP) and TMS

Benchmark the supply chains of OEMs and develop a framework for effective implementation

Pilot SCM initiatives based on benchmarking data from Automotive OEMs

Identify opportunities for SCM cost reduction across key areas: Inbound Logistics, Warehousing, and Inventory Management

Define and prioritize strategic projects for F25 and F26

Drive and manage key supply chain projects, ensuring timely follow-ups on progress and deliverables

Leverage business analytics to generate reports and insights aimed at business improvement

Lead and implement key initiatives on behalf of the SCM Heads Office

Develop and maintain dashboards to monitor and track the performance of various supply chain functions

Prepare documentation, presentations, and executive summaries for key stakeholders

Education Qualification

Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical / Automobile

Diploma in Material Management / Procurement SCM

MBA in Logistics and SCM / Operations Management / Industrial Engineering

General Experience 1 to 4 years of work experience in Supply Chain Buying, Procurement, Capacity Planning

Critical Experience Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

Knowledge of benchmarking and identifying industry best practices

Operational expertise in SAP systems

Experience in creating and managing MIS reports and dashboards

Well-versed in global supply chain disruptions and developing risk mitigation strategies

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI

Solid understanding of key supply chain concepts such as premium freight, obsolescence, detention demurrage, inventory management, and data management

Strong communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders across various business functions

Expertise in supplier relationship management

Effective internal stakeholder management skills
