Head - Business Development ( Transmission Line Tower )

Industry: Fabrication & Galvanizing of Transmission Liner Tower & Other Steel Structure

ROLE:

Responsible for achieving sales targets, identifying and exploring new market opportunities, managing customer relationships, new registration & obtaining approvals, tendering process and after sale support.

Principle Job Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate potential markets and opportunities for expansion , new customer acquisition and create a strong pipeline of potential customers.
• New registration and obtain necessary approvals for Railways, TLT, Telecom, and black steel from relevant authorities.
• Analyze market trends, competition, and regulatory changes to facilitate strategic decisions.
• Oversee the tendering process, ensuring timely and accurate submission of bids for all products including black steel.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and partners through effective contract management.
• Provide inputs on existing product development and new products
• Lead the launch of new products into the market, coordinating with cross-functional teams.
• Develop and implement pricing strategies to maximize profitability.
• Explore markets for export opportunities. Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and documentation requirements.
• Oversee the efficient execution of sales orders, ensuring on-time delivery and quality.
• Provide exceptional after-sales support by addressing customer queries and resolving complaints promptly.
• Ensure timely realization through regular follow ups.
• Keep the Head Sales updated on regular basis
• Any other job as assigned from time to time by the management.

Performance Standards

• Production Targets / Revenue Increase
• New Market Acquired
• Number of registrations / approvals for TLT, Railways, Telecom etc. from relevant authorities within specified timelines.
• % share of export sales.
