Job Title: Business Development Manager - Automotive
Location: North India (Specify preferred cities if any)
Role:
- We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join our growing team.
- In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth within the automotive sector, focusing on our range of high-quality components, including Rotary Joints, Mechanical Seals, Couplings, Pneumatic Clutches, Industrial Shock Absorbers, Gearboxes, and Bearings.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the automotive industry (OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, etc.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify key target accounts and develop effective sales strategies.
- Generate leads through various channels, including networking, cold calling, industry events, and online platforms.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Negotiate and close deals effectively, ensuring customer satisfaction and achieving sales targets.
Technical Expertise & Support:
- Understand customer requirements and technical specifications.
- Provide technical support and consultation to customers on product selection, application, and troubleshooting.
- Develop and deliver compelling product presentations and demonstrations.
Market Research & Analysis:
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and technological advancements.
- Gather market intelligence and customer feedback to identify new product opportunities and market segments.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify areas for improvement and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and proposals.
- Prepare regular sales reports, including sales forecasts, pipeline analysis, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Participate in team meetings and provide regular updates on sales progress and market conditions.
Key Skills & Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales and business development within the automotive industry (minimum 3-5 years).
- Strong technical understanding of automotive components such as those listed (Rotary Joints, Mechanical Seals, Couplings, etc.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and target-driven with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Experience with project management methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
