Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy Development:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive growth in targeted markets and segments.
- Identify and define key business opportunities, including new markets, verticals, and potential clients.
- Create sales forecasts, track key performance metrics, and provide actionable insights to senior management.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor strategies, and market conditions to adapt and refine sales strategies accordingly.
Lead Generation & Prospecting:
- Identify and qualify potential leads and prospects through cold calling, email outreach, networking, and industry events.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of leads, prospects, and opportunities across diverse industries and geographical regions.
- Conduct initial consultations to understand customer needs, pain points, and offer tailored solutions.
Client Engagement & Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and prospects, ensuring long-term business partnerships.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients to showcase the value proposition and benefits of solutions.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to close business deals while maintaining profitability.
- Work closely with customers to ensure the successful implementation and use of products/services.
Sales Execution & Closing:
- Manage the full sales lifecycle, from lead qualification to contract signing and onboarding.
- Close new business opportunities by negotiating contracts and securing agreements that meet both customer needs and business objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, customer support) to ensure timely delivery and client satisfaction post-sale.
Market Research & Business Insights:
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, trends, and competitor landscape.
- Identify potential gaps in the market and propose solutions to capitalize on these opportunities.
- Monitor sales metrics, analyze performance data, and create detailed reports on business development progress and growth opportunities.
Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with the sales team, marketing, and product management teams to align strategies and achieve collective targets.
- Assist in the development of sales collateral, proposals, and marketing materials that support business development activities.
- Share feedback and insights from clients to help improve product offerings and sales approaches.
Key Skills & Requirements:
Core Skills:
- Proven track record of success in sales and business development, with strong experience in B2B or B2C sales.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present and persuade at all levels.
- Strong ability to build relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Solid experience in sales pipeline management and forecasting.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills with a results-oriented mindset.
- Knowledge of CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot) and experience in using them to track and manage leads and customer data.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve sales targets and business goals.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to understand market dynamics and develop actionable insights.
Experience:
- 5 to 12years of experience in sales, business development, or a similar role.
- Demonstrated experience in managing and growing customer accounts, building relationships, and generating new business.
- Experience with lead generation, sales presentations, contract negotiation, and closing sales.
