Job Description
As an SAP Solution Manager ConsultantEngineer you will play a key role in the implementation configuration and ongoing support of SAP Solution Manager within our organization You will work closely with crossfunctional teams to ensure the effective use of SAP Solution Manager functionalities for managing and optimizing our SAP landscape Focused Build is an extension of SAP Solution Manager that specifically addresses the requirements of managing complex projects and releases
ROLES RESPONSIBILITIES
Incident and Problem Management
Utilize SAP Solution Manager for incident and problem management
Collaborate with support teams to ensure timely resolution of issues
Change and Release Management
Implement and optimize change and release management processes using SAP Solution Manager
Coordinate with project teams to manage the release lifecycle
Implementation and Configuration
Configure and implement SAP Solution Manager Focused Build according to project requirements
Customize Focused Build functionalities to align with the organizations project management processes
Project and Release Management
Define and optimize project and release management processes using Focused Build
Collaborate with project managers and teams to ensure effective use of Focused Build for project planning execution and monitoring
Requirement Gathering
Engage with business stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into Focused Build configurations
Continuous Improvement
Stay updated on SAP Solution Manager Focused Build updates and enhancements
Propose and implement continuous improvements to optimize project delivery processes
Monitoring and Reporting
Set up and configure monitoring and reporting tools within SAP Solution Manager
Generate reports and dashboards to provide insights into the health and performance of SAP systems
Documentation
Create and maintain documentation for SAP Solution Manager configurations processes and best practices
Ensure that documentation is uptodate and accessible to relevant teams
Integrations
Integrate Solution Manager Focused Build with third party tools like ServiceNow JIRA BIC etc
Training and Support
Provide training and support to endusers project managers and other relevant stakeholders on Focused Build functionalities
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Focused Build implementation
ESSENTIAL SKILLS KEY CAPABILITIES
Minimum of 7 years of experience in SAP Solution Manager implementation and support
Added experience in SAP Solution Manager implementation with a focus on Focused Build is preferable
Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or related field
Proven experience in implementing and configuring SAP Solution Manager Focused Build
Strong understanding of project and release management processes
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams
Problemsolving and troubleshooting skills
SAP certifications related to Solution Manager and Focused Build are a plus
DESIRABLE SKILLS KEY CAPABILITIES
Certification in ITIL will be an added advantage
