Job Description
- As a Business Analyst, key responsibilities include working/coordinating with Product manager and Development to get clearly understand the business requirements, breaking them down and translating them into development tasks.
- Participate/drive day-to-day development work/agile process, e.g., review business requirement, build a clear/well-format user story for the team, conduct requirement elaboration to the team, define acceptance criteria, understand and provide clarification of all requirements with team, working closely with development/product management to deliver requirements base on agreed time frame.
- Provide elaboration of requirement in User Story (in JIRA), On-line documentation system (Confluence), Build FAQs that will help team reduce support effort.
- Mentor/Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to improve system stability by planning/elaborating/reviews test scenarios/cases.
- 5+ Years Business Analysis experience
- Good communication skills (written and spoken)
- Good knowledge on Financial Markets specially around the Wealth Management Domain (preferably on Proposal Generation and/or Advisor Workflows)
- Good interpersonal and customer leadership skills
- Mentoring skills significant for a senior BA role
- Strong excellent teammate, problem solver, a self-sufficient individual with an ability to be constructively address issues - delivery focussed.
- Experience in software development methodologies.
- Knowledge of Agile practices and processes
- CBAP or equivalent certification
- Product Owner and/or Project Management experience
- Experience of working with distributed teams (across different locations)
- Experience of working with API/Service oriented framework
- Development experience, particularly in Java/Angular/Python.
- Good experience in AWS
- Good understanding of databases
