Job Description
- Supervises a team, allocates tasks to team members and co-ordinate work of other team members to efficiently implement the end-to-end testing in the software development life cycle.
- Handles and leads end-to-end testing delivery and activities in alignment with the organisations quality standards and strategy to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified business and customer needs.
- Reviews and approves test plans and scripts to ensure alignment with standards and technology strategy.
- Leads all aspects of the maintenance of all customer technology solutions, ensuring all issues are resolved on time.
- Develops understanding of LSEGs commercial direction and how quality and technology are a part of this.
- Builds positive relationships with internal and external collaborators, growing own network and collaborating with other teams.
- Communicates sophisticated / technical information clearly and concisely in an audience-appropriate format.
- Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering
- 8+ years in software delivery domain
- Proven experience of testing processes and methodologies: strategy, plan, design, implement, report and measurement
- Good team-collaboration and skills on effective communication
- Familiar with agile methodology and good sense of quality ownership and risk assessment
- Exhibits Test Management experience in entire software development life cycle, software quality assurance, preferably in multi-tiered applications.
- Validated hands-on experience in at least one programming language JavaScript/TypeScript, Selenium, Postman
- Experience on CICD methodology, testing automation tools and frameworks.
- Experience with performance engineering, SDLC stage, public cloud (AWS, Azure), Financial Knowledge is a plus.
