Logistics Manager (FMCG)

Role & responsibilities

• Candidate should have 4 to 8 years of experience of working in logistic dept. of FMCG company. Age below 35.
• He should have computer operational knowledge & should have ERP system including MS office.
• He will be responsible for complete operations of warehouse/CMU like dispatches, physical/ERP system stock maintenance, vehicle management, transportation & co-ordination of full order cycle with plant, accounts, sales team.
• Make daily dispatch plan in consultation with Sales Head/ASM/SO & arrange suitable vehicles from transporters. Economical angle should be there while making dispatch plan.
• He also needs to visit various G2 CMUs as & when required.
• Handling all transport contractors, their agreement, bills, any damage/short/excess complaints against dispatched material claims & timely delivery to concern location distributors. Make daily dispatch MIS report & share to all concerns.
• Total co-ordination of Sales & Transport for dispatches.
• Taking daily strong follow up to avoid customer line loss.
• Maintain good relationship with dispatch labours, drivers & transport contractors.
• Invoice preparation in tally, ERP (TAX Invoice, GRN).
• Creating GRN & STI Invoice, Gate Pass.
• Vendor stock reconciliation.
• Maintain the stock register for Inward & Outward.
• To prepare daily/monthly stock closing reports.
• Actively involved in Yearly Audit of material stock report till finalization of Audit.
• Physically verification of received material with comments on quality and recommendation on required.
• Maintaining and updating the vender wise stock report.
• Make material requirements and follow up to purchase department time to time.
