Manager - Logistics

• Managing inventory: Strategically plan and manage logistics at multiple locations, warehouse, transportation and customer services. Overseeing the storage and movement of the inventories.
• Analysing data: Using data to identify trends, measure performance, and identify areas for improvement. Maintain metrics and analyse data to assess performance and implement improvements
• Developing and managing KPIs: Developing and managing key performance indicators (KPIs) for logistics
• Supervising the logistics team: Supervising and managing the logistics team, including delegating tasks, providing feedback, and managing conflicts.
• Negotiating contracts: Negotiating & meeting cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets
• Planning routes: Planning routes for delivery and inter DC movement.
• Processing shipments: Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency. Ensuring shipments are delivered on time and to the correct destination
• Liaising with suppliers: Liaising and negotiating with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and consumers.
• Resolving complaints: Resolve any arising problems or complaints responding to shipping complaints, lost items, and damages on day-to-day basis.
• Evaluating budgets: Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets. Evaluating budgets, expenditures, and operations.
• Determining needs for expansion: Determining needs for expansion of routes and schedules.
• L & D Claims and Insurance.

Requirements and skills

• Candidates who can join immediately.
• Proven working experience of around 10 years as a Logistics Manager with multiple location inventory.
• Record of successful distribution and logistics management.
• Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff.
• Proficient in standard logistics software.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.
• PG / Diploma in Business Administration, Logistics or Supply Chain
• Will handle multiple Depot on day-to-day basis.
