Sustainability Lead

Job Profile:

We are seeking a passionate sustainability professional as a Package Lead in Environmental Sustainability, who will be responsible for executing our environmental strategy focused on resilience and decarbonization. You will proactively coordinate with architectural and engineering teams to develop and integrate Lodha's sustainability policy into upcoming projects. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and Implement Demand Reduction Strategies:
  Drive sustainability initiatives in lowering operation stage demand of energy in the built environment, focusing on practical passive design, equipment efficiency, and other resource conservation measures.
• Benchmark Sustainability Performance:
  Analyse and compare developments and solutions with global best practices to establish workable high performance initiatives that become benchmarks in urbanization and set global standards for sustainability.
• Coordinate with the Net Zero Urban Accelerator:
  Collaborate with the accelerator group to implement on-ground pilot initiatives in the energy demand reduction focus area.
• Influence the Supply Chain:
  Educate and align Lodhas supply chain with our sustainability goals in coordination with procurement teams.
• Project Management:
  Conceptualize, plan, develop, budget, procure, implement, and commission sustainability projects, ensuring effective execution from start to finish.
• Promote Low Carbon Materials and Circularity:
  Advocate for the use of low carbon materials and circular economy practices throughout the project lifecycle.
• Engage in Continuous Learning:
  Stay updated on sustainability trends and technologies to continually improve Lodha’s sustainability initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field from a leading Indian or global institution.
• Proven experience in demand reduction strategies within the built environment.
• Hands-on experience with analytic software tools (energy modeling, airflow analysis, etc.) is advantageous.
• Additional knowledge and experience in low carbon materials and circularity is helpful.
• Strong project management skills with a track record of successfully delivering sustainability initiatives.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to inspire and lead cross-functional teams.
