AM/DM - Interior Design (Retail)

Job description:

1. Site readiness, Design checks and approvals

• Assist the Retail design delivery lead in Coordinating and following up with Design teams / HPM teams for respective projects in order to get the correct Relevant data for retail project.
• Checking for retailers requirements, doing feasibility checks on site for preleasing stage along with MEP fitout manager.
• Coordinating with internal teams like leasing / operations / HPM etc for getting the developers scope of work done.
• Assist in Joint measurements for particular units and concluding on area calculation along with RDD head and design team.
• Taking sign offs from the design delivery lead for retail store design, Understanding the approved design drawings in detail for taking it ahead for execution.

2. Fitouts / Site execution

• Ensuring the execution is done by brand as per approved design/plans and conduct inspection/audit for fitout completion
• Doing the required preopening checks for every store as per intermediate stages defined, highlighting any deviations to the brand and getting it corrected on time.
• Maintaining a tracker for projects progress for each site separately.

Educational qualification:

B.Arch / Diploma/ Degree in Interior Designing

Experience required:

Minimum 5 to 10 years in handling Retail interiors fitouts including F&B outlets, anchor units, vanilla stores etc for high end international brands as well as local brands.

• Must have sound knowledge of retail interior designing, latest trending materials and their uses, Brands design requirements etc.
• Must have decent knowledge of MEP drawings and details for retail interiors.
• Knowledge of fit put process and hands on experience of handling retail fit-outs, coordination with brands and HPM for day to day fit out activities, recording daily fit out progress
• Clear Understanding and knowledge on retail signages and its different types or designs / storefronts checks / leasing lines / importance of different design elements in retail design related concepts is required.
