Subject Matter Expert - MS and VM

Role & responsibilities

Min 6+ Years of working experience in Microsoft.

Hands on experience on Virtualization technologies like Hyper-V, Nutanix VM.

Extensive knowledge of Hyper-V architecture, including Hyper-V host, Hyper-V Manager, and virtual networks.

Expertise in configuring and managing Hyper-V failover clusters for high availability and disaster recovery.

Expertise in Hyper-V storage management, including LUN creation, virtual hard disks (VHD/VHDX), and SAN storage.

Strong proficiency in troubleshooting VM issues, including performance degradation and resource allocation problems.

Expertise in configuring and managing Windows Server Failover Clusters (WSFC) and Cluster Shared Volumes (CSV).

Expertise in managing Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies.

Experience with Windows Server backup solutions and disaster recovery strategies.

Skilled in patch management and security updates for Windows Server systems.

Strong proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation, server monitoring, and performance optimization.

User attributes updation as per the requirement (single\ Bulk). Identify\ Analyse and taking necessary action on Stale accounts.

On call support whenever is required. POA preparation for the server migrations\ upgradations.

Escalation handling.

Hands on experience on NPS, policies creation etc., Good knowledge on ITIL process. Hands on experience on software deployment on domain machines.
