TecQubes Technologies - Senior Wintel Engineer (6-8 yrs)

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Wintel Engineer to join our dynamic team.

In this critical role, you will be responsible for providing 24/7 support and maintenance for our Windows Server and virtualization infrastructure.

This position requires flexibility and the ability to work on various shifts, including nights and weekends.

Key Responsibilities :

- Installation, configuration, and maintenance of Windows Server operating systems (2012 R2, 2016, 2019, 2022, and latest versions).

- Administration of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and other core Windows Server services.

- Implementation and management of virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V).

- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, AWS) including migration, deployment, and management of virtual machines and other cloud services.

- Implementation and maintenance of security best practices, including security hardening, vulnerability management, and intrusion detection.

- Manage antivirus and anti-malware software.

- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues related to Windows Server systems and virtualization environments.

- Develop and maintain scripts (e.g, PowerShell, VBScript) to automate routine tasks and improve efficiency.

Qualifications :

Experience : 6-8 years of hands-on experience in Windows Server administration.

Technical Skills :

- Strong knowledge of Windows Server operating systems (2012 R2, 2016, 2019, 2022, and latest versions).

- Expertise in Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and other core Windows Server services.

- Experience with virtualisation platforms (VMware, Hyper-V).

- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g, PowerShell, VBScript).

- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, AWS).
