Senior Engineer, Hardware Test & Automation

Core role & responsbilities:

Primary Skillset:

Should be able to write test scripts in Python for automating testing.

Should have experience with board bring up and write startup firmware codes.

Should have experience in automation of test setup with measurement equipment.

Skilled user of Test Equipment like Oscilloscope, Data loggers, Power supplies, Function generators, etc.

Should have hands-on experience with hardware / software testing.

Proficient in writing detailed test plan and test reports as per applicable reference standards.

Should be able to write structured and systematic test reports and templates.

Should be able to understand datasheet of electronic components and test standards like IEC, EN or any other quality standards.

Desired Skillset:

Very good exposure to programming (preferably Python and Embedded C).

Should be able to write test cases in detail for a given problem.

Proficient with analysis and reporting using MS Office Excel and Word.

Able to understand Electronic Schematic circuits & PCB layout design skills preferably ALTIUM.

Should have hands-on experience with handling electronic PCBAs.
