Job Description :

Responsibilities :

- Lead Power BI development, fostering best practices and workflows.

- Understand user requirements and develop reports that meet business needs.

- Troubleshoot data roadblocks and resolve challenges through problem-solving and testing.

- Collaborate on defining KPIs and metrics for effective business monitoring.

- Prototype dashboards to engage users and create excitement about solutions.

- Conduct impact analysis and recommend end-state solutions.

- Partner with Business Intelligence teams to create and maintain core dataflows from disparate systems.

- Identify opportunities to improve analytics and collaborate cross-functionally to implement changes.

- Oversee QA activities to validate data and ensure accuracy.

Typical Deliverables :

- High-quality visualizations, reports, and dashboards in Microsoft Power BI.

- Business requirements documentation from stakeholders across departments.

- Repeatable dataflows/models using Power BI, QlikView, SQL, Excel, etc.

- Territory models, sales dashboards, pipeline health models, and more.

- Comprehensive documentation for reports, dashboards, and datasets.

- Persuasive presentations for project teams and business leaders.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or relevant experience in BI development.

- 4-8 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI and data modeling.

- Knowledge of other BI tools like QlikView or Qlik Sense is a plus.

- Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work independently and within agile teams.

- Understanding of project management practices and scheduling.

- Excellent communication skills to accurately capture and address user needs.

- Experience in Reporting, Business Intelligence, and Analytics roles.
