Eversana - Data Platform Support Specialist - Python/Power BI (3-6 yrs)

Position Overview:.

We are seeking a dedicated Data Platform Support Specialist with expertise in Qlik Replicate, Power BI, Tableau, DBT, Snowflake and AWS admin to join our team and ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of our data platforms.

Job Description :

Responsibilities :

Platform Maintenance and Monitoring :

- Oversee the daily operations of data platforms, ensuring their availability, performance, and security.

- Monitor system health and performance, and proactively address potential issues.

- Implement and manage backup and recovery processes.

- Provide support on work flow management system and automation tools like Airflow.

- Provide support for different system integration like Salesforce, Microsoft D365 to Snowflake.

Technical Support :

- Provide technical support for data platform-related issues, including troubleshooting and resolving incidents.

- Assist users with platform-related queries and provide training as needed.

- Collaborate with data engineers, architects and IT teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of data systems.

Data Quality and Integrity :

- Ensure data quality and integrity across all data platforms.

- Conduct regular audits and implement data governance policies.

- Develop and maintain documentation for data platform processes and procedures.

Support Business Intelligence and Reporting :

- Develop, maintain, and support interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI, and Tableau.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to support all aspects of Tableau and Power BI admin support requests.

- Perform system analysis to support business decision-making.

Cloud Platform Management :

- Troubleshoot AWS S3/SFTP issues and support any data transfer queries.

- Implement best practices for cloud security and cost management.

- Stay updated with the latest AWS services and features to enhance data platform capabilities like AWG glue.

Continuous Improvement :

- Identify opportunities to optimize data platform performance and efficiency.

- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in data platform management.

- Participate in the evaluation and implementation of new data technologies and tools.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.

- Proven experience in data platform support or a similar role.

- Strong admin knowledge and experience of Qlik or any other ETL/ELT , Power BI, Snowflake and Tableau.

- Proficiency in AWS Lambda, Glue and experience with cloud-based data platforms.

- Strong SQL skills and experience with data integration tools.

- Strong knowledge in Python.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with other cloud platforms such as Microsoft Fabric

- Familiarity with data governance and security principles.
