Senior Quality Assurance Engineer - API Testing (7-9 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for web and mobile applications.

- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress and other relevant testing frameworks.

- Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.

- Investigate and document bugs and defects.

- Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and identify potential issues.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies.

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.

- Stay abreast of the latest testing tools, technologies, and industry best practices.

Required Skills and Experience :

- 7+ years of overall experience in software testing.

- At least 3 years of recent experience in automation testing.

- 1+ years of hands-on experience with Cypress for test automation.

- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).

- Experience with various testing types (functional, regression, integration, performance).

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and remotely with strong self-management skills.

- Experience with version control systems (Git).

- Experience with bug tracking tools (Jira, Bugzilla).

Desired Skills and Experience :

- Experience with API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI).

- Experience with performance and load testing tools.

- Experience with cloud-based testing platforms.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
