Job Description:
Strategic Marketing Leadership & Brand Development:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with brand values, vision, and revenue targets.
- Lead brand positioning, ensuring the organization stands out in the market for its USPs.
- Oversee all aspects of brand communications across digital, retail, and influencer channels to ensure consistency and authenticity.
Revenue Growth & Profitability:
- Drive significant revenue growth by developing customer acquisition and retention strategies that maximize lifetime value (LTV) and optimize return on investment (ROI).
- Set and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including customer acquisition costs (CAC), average order value (AOV), and revenue growth per channel to ensure alignment with company financial goals.
E-commerce & Marketplace Strategy:
- Lead the e-commerce and marketplace strategy, ensuring optimal performance on both the company website and on third-party platforms such as Nykaa and Amazon.
- Oversee product listing optimization, customer reviews, and promotional campaigns to drive visibility, improve search rankings, and increase conversions on these platforms.
Customer Acquisition & Retention:
- Spearhead customer acquisition efforts through targeted digital marketing campaigns, while maintaining a cost-efficient customer acquisition funnel.
- Build and execute a comprehensive retention strategy focused on customer loyalty, repeat purchases, and increased customer engagement through email marketing, loyalty programs, and personalized offers.
Data-Driven Decision Making & Growth Optimization:
- Use advanced data analytics and consumer insights to continuously track, evaluate, and optimize marketing campaigns, ensuring they deliver measurable results.
- Implement conversion rate optimization, and customer segmentation to drive growth and improve overall marketing effectiveness.
- Use data to inform decisions across all marketing channels, ensuring continuous performance improvements and efficient use of the marketing budget.
Team Leadership & Collaboration:
- Lead, inspire, and mentor the internal marketing team, fostering a collaborative environment focused on innovation, creativity, and excellence.
- Collaborate with the product development, sales, and operations teams to ensure cohesive strategies that drive successful product launches and meet overall business objectives.
- Work closely with senior leadership to align marketing initiatives with business goals and financial targets.
- Social Media Marketing, Influencer Marketing and Public Relations.
- Develop and execute a social media strategy that enhances brand awareness, drives engagement, and fosters a loyal online community.
- Build a strong social presence through organic and paid campaigns, user-generated content, and collaborations with brand ambassadors and influencers to engage directly with target audiences, boost brand credibility, and drive traffic to e-commerce channels.
- Manage key influencer and affiliate partnerships to drive awareness and sales, ensuring that all collaborations align with the brand's values and target audience.
- Develop and execute a PR strategy to elevate the brand's presence and thought leadership in the clean beauty industry.
Budget & Resource Management:
- Oversee the marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation across channels to maximize impact and efficiency.
- Continuously monitor spend and performance to make data-backed decisions about resource distribution and campaign adjustments.
Mandatory Requirements:
- You should have at least 5+ years of experience from Top B schools only (IIM's/ISB/FMS/XLRI/MDI & equivalent).
- You should have experience of consulting from top consulting organizations only, ideally MBB.
