We are looking for a seasoned and results-driven Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to oversee and manage all financial operations. As CFO, you will play a critical role in shaping the financial strategy and performance of the organization, ensuring financial sustainability, and supporting our business goals. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in financial planning and analysis, fundraising, financial reporting, and risk management, with a deep understanding of the consumer tech space.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Strategy & Leadership:
- Lead the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling processes to support the company's long-term strategy and growth goals.
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations to the CEO and Board of Directors regarding financial planning, profitability, and capital allocation.
- Develop and manage financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure effective financial operations across the organization.
Financial Operations & Reporting:
- Oversee the preparation of timely, accurate, and insightful financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and capital structure to ensure optimal liquidity and financial health of the company.
Fundraising & Investor Relations:
- Lead efforts to secure funding, including equity and debt financing, venture capital, and strategic partnerships.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, analysts, and financial institutions, and communicate the company's financial performance, strategies, and vision.
- Support the CEO in preparing for board meetings, investor presentations, and shareholder communications.
Risk Management & Compliance:
- Assess and manage the financial risks of the organization, including market risk, credit risk, and operational risk.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and reporting requirements in the regions the company operates.
- Develop a robust risk management framework to mitigate financial exposure and safeguard company assets.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, transparency, and accountability.
- Oversee the recruitment, training, and professional development of finance personnel.
Mergers & Acquisitions:
- Evaluate and lead potential mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships, conducting thorough due diligence and financial analysis.
Qualifications:
- CA with 13+ years of experience as CFO or senior finance executive in a high-growth, consumer tech, or technology-focused organization.
- Strong knowledge of financial management principles, accounting practices, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Experience with fundraising, investor relations, and capital markets.
- A strategic thinker with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Experience in managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with C-level executives.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
