Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Customer Focus Cultivating Customer Loyalty

  • Champion a customer-centric culture by prioritizing customer satisfaction and loyalty across all retail stores.
  • Drive the Customer Experience (CX) governance frameworks to standardize service quality across all retail stores.
  • Benchmark and adopt best practices for improving customer engagement, fostering customer loyalty.
  • Ensure seamless execution of loyalty programs, promotions, and customer feedback mechanisms.
  • Train team members, including Cluster Managers, Store Managers, on customer service best practices to maintain high standards of service quality.

Sales Mastery

  • Drive P&L management, maximising profitability (EBITA) while optimizing costs and resources.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and store profitability.
  • Conduct comprehensive market, season and competitor analysis to identify trends and refine sales approaches.
  • Regularly monitor, evaluate, and analyse sales data to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities to meet sales and profitability goals.
  • Identifying growth opportunities on business development (BD) and market expansion activities and provide insights for action plans.
  • Lead product strategy, including product knowledge and training, product performance reviews, analysis of campaigns and promotions, gathering and providing feedback on product insights, aligning category targets with overall sales goals, establishing incentive programs to boost category sales, and developing promotional initiatives to enhance store performance.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to provide insights and implement on Above-the-Line (ATL) activities to enhance visibility and footfall.

Change Management

  • Lead organizational change initiatives by addressing resistance to change and building buy-in at all levels.
  • Develop and communicate effective change strategies to drive smooth transitions across store operations, processes, and technologies.
  • Stay adaptable and responsive to market and operational challenges.

Leadership Excellence

  • Inspire and mentor Cluster Managers to build a culture of accountability, ownership, and performance excellence.
  • Leverage creative and critical thinking to empower teams, fostering empathy and strong professional relationships.
  • Identify and nurture entrepreneurial skills, encouraging innovation and risk-taking within the operational framework.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback.
  • Conduct regular training needs analysis of the team and evaluate the effectiveness of training and development programs for team growth.
  • Represent the brand's leadership values by leading by example and motivating teams to achieve their best.

Decision-Making

  • Shape the strategic direction of retail operations by leveraging data, market insights, and business acumen.
  • Use strategic thinking to align store operations with organizational goals and ensure long-term success.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential challenges and develop contingency plans to mitigate risks.
  • Promote ethical decision-making at all levels to maintain the brand’s integrity and uphold organizational values, even in challenging or uncertain situations.

Operations Excellence

  • Drive operational strategy by standardizing processes, identifying areas of improvement, and ensuring the effective use of resources.
  • Monitor operational KPIs across all stores to ensure consistent alignment with business goals.
  • Collaborate with the inventory team on inventory management, reducing stockouts while maintaining ideal stock levels.
  • Implement technology-driven solutions to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Resolve complex operational issues across multiple stores by implementing strategic solutions that drive efficiency and performance.
  • Conduct store visits regularly to review operations, address concerns, and support Cluster Managers in achieving operational and customer service excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and adherence to retail operational guidelines.



Preferred candidate profile


  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in retail management, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role, overseeing multiple locations or clusters of stores.
  • Experience in retail fashion, jewelry, or a similar customer-facing industry is preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in driving sales growth, profitability, and operational excellence.
  • Strong understanding of market trends, competitive landscape, and customer behavior.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies and promotional plans.
  • Experience in P&L management, budget planning, and data analysis.
  • Strong customer orientation with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
  • Ability to analyze data and identify areas for improvement.
