Job Description: Manager - HR


Department: Human Resources

Position : Manager - HR

Level : Manager

Reporting to: Head - HR


Role Overview: Responsible for driving Performance Management with a balance scorecard, Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits, OD, HR surveys, HR Analytics with Dashboard, HR Operations-Design & Analysis of Compensation & Benefits structure.


Roles & Responsibilities:


  • Create and drive strategy, framework, processes, data analysis for performance management, talent reviews/calibration, and performance management analytics in consultation with the Head HR.
  • Develop and manage the processes for defining and ensuring a strong, diverse internal bench of ready candidates for key roles in partnership with HR Business Partners and Business Unit (Project Interventions) Heads.
  • Assisting the overall HR function with Talent Management by leveraging Learning & Development (L&D). Co-create the organizations L&D vision and build policies around it.
  • Creating and maintaining an annual training calendar incorporating different training phases. Manage multiple learning programs for Employees, High Performers, High Potentials, Managers, and Leaders.
  • Design & analysis of Compensation and Benefit structure for new hires and senior-level employees
  • Should be able to design and analyze a variety of HR surveys such as candidate experience survey, employee engagement surveys, pulse surveys, training effectiveness surveys, etc.
  • Should be able to design a variety of HR MIS reports and HR dashboards
  • Responsible for other HR related topics (including employee engagement, compensation benchmarking, grievance, discipline, employee relations, HR vendor contracts, etc.)
  • Support in building HR Presentations and HR Communication collaterals

Candidate Specification


Educational Qualifications: MBA / MMS / PGDM / PGDBA in HR from a reputed B-School. Prefers full-time MBA.


Years of Experience

  • 10-12 years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years of experience in a managerial role
  • 5+ years of experience in Performance Management, Talent Management, Learning & Development, and Organizational Development.
  • In-depth experience with multiple approaches and methodologies related to performance management, talent management, and L&D initiatives.
  • Demonstrated track record of creating and driving talent and learning programs that positively calibrate talent with rigor, deepen succession and increase organizational capability
  • Should have experience in Compensation and Benefits Design and Payroll administration
  • Proficient in HR Analytics and Advanced Dashboards
  • Ability to effectively interface with and influence employees/managers at all levels of the organization and across business units (interventions)
