Key Responsibilities :

Security Infrastructure Design and Implementation :

- Design, deploy, and manage Cisco security solutions, including firewalls, intrusion prevention systems (IPS), and VPNs.

- Implement security policies in accordance with Cisco's best practices to safeguard against cyber threats.

Firewall Configuration and Management :

- Configure and administer Cisco FTD firewalls to enforce network security policies.

- Implement advanced firewall features from Cisco's security portfolio for threat mitigation.

Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS) :

- Configure and manage Cisco IPS to detect and prevent security incidents.

- Analyse and respond to security events, ensuring timely and effective threat mitigation.

Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) :

- Implement and maintain Cisco VPN technologies, including site-to-site and remote access VPNs.

- Utilize Cisco AnyConnect for secure remote access solutions.

Security Auditing and Compliance :

- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.

- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to network security.

Technical Skill Set (Cisco's Security Portfolio) :

Firewall Technologies :

- Expertise in configuring and managing Cisco FTD firewalls.

- Knowledge of Cisco FMC and ASA-FTD Migration.

Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS) :

- Proficiency in configuring and monitoring Cisco IPS solutions.

- Understanding of advanced IPS features for threat detection and prevention.

VPN Technologies :

- Configuration and troubleshooting of Cisco site-to-site and remote access VPNs.

- Experience with Cisco AnyConnect for secure remote access.

Identity Services Engine (ISE) :

- Implementation and management of Cisco ISE for secure access control.

- Integration of ISE with other security components for comprehensive network security.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP) or equivalent certification is required.

- 2-5 years of proven experience in network security roles.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
