What You Will Do
- Being an active member of a collaborative and agile global team that works with and has ownership of operational tasks.
- Working across multiple business units with other Engineers, customers, and Product teams to provide operational support to technical teams.
- Setting, maintaining, and documenting standards.
- Creating backlog items that help create a more reliable and flexible network based on data captured from various tools.
- Designing and creating processes for contextualizing, cleaning, aggregating, and transforming data, making it better and more useful to the business.
- Identifying areas of opportunity to optimize processes within the Tools team.
- Engaging vendors as necessary to resolve complex issues.
- Recommending process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Using disciplined problem-solving strategies to identify how to improve resolution strategies and enhance the consumer experience.
- Working closely with the Product team to provide support and close the backlogs on time.
- Exercising product knowledge to identify and build automation processes that remove manual operational work.
- Being advocates of our capabilities to help improve overall adoption and reliability of our products.
- Collaborating with customer service teams to understand how to improve support.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- IT infrastructure knowledge and experience (networking, servers, storage, etc.)
- Experience with Monitoring tools such as LogicMonitor, Thousand Eyes, Meraki etc.
- IT infrastructure knowledge and experience (networking, servers, storage, etc.)
- Agile development processes and CI/CD pipelines
- Ticketing and CMDB solutions such as ServiceNow Data analysis and manipulation tools such as Splunk or Tableau
- Experience working on an agile team
- Eagerness and capability to quickly learn new processes and products
- Ability to apply critical thinking skills
What Will Put You Ahead
- (Experience & education preferred)
- Experience with SDLC and coding in languages such as Python, JavaScript, and PowerShell"
- Bachelors degree or higher
- Strong analytical and project management skills
- Good to have statistical knowledge or background.
