IT Infrastructure Admin

POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Administrator with 4-6 years of expertise in leading infrastructure operations teams, focusing on Linux/Windows system administration, troubleshooting, and automation. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data center infrastructure, networking, and incident management. Preferred skills include scripting
(Ansible/Powershell), VMWare, and CI/CD pipelines.
EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILL SETS
At least 4-6 years of experience leading an infrastructure operations team including
managing shift structure, escalations and SOPs.
Linux / Windows System administration and support experience
General troubleshooting skills related to infrastructure tools, package installs and o/s
patching.
Basic shell scripting and experience with any automation tools like Ansible
Good understanding of data center infrastructure, networking, storage, DNS and firewalls
Ability to communicate effectively with various other infrastructure teams and end users
Experience with command center operations, incident management and documenting RCA
Experience with performance monitoring tools
Ability to work with Developers and Architects in defining best in class architectures.
Automation-first mindset
Performance troubleshooting, incident response, coordinate with vendors and support team
on problem resolution, design issues and upgrades
Mentor junior systems support engineers
GOOD TO HAVE
4-6 years of Redhat Linux administration or Windows Systems Administration
Experience
Server backup and recovery experience
VMWare vCenter administration experience
Ansible scripting experience
Powershell scripting experience
Experience with Infoblox, F5 configuration
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes
Experience with Weblogic/Middleware administration
Experience with Dynatrace/Splun
