Function / Department Procurement

Location  - Baner Pune

Summary / Purpose of the role 

• Handling sourcing responsibilities of bought out valves, gear box, actuator & hydraulic cylinder with power pack. Driving units & Other Bought Outs
• Ensuring right cost- quality-delivery of the subcategories assigned
• Prebid support to sector.
• New/alternate supplier development.

Key Responsibilities

- Strategic Sourcing of Actuators, Gearbox, Bought out Valves, hydraulic cylinder with power pack & respective item’s spare-accessories.

- Working on requirements in form of SAP PRs & requirement received from Marketing/ Planning

- Floating RFQ & getting technical clearance from Engineering team. The Supplier and pricing finalization for project specific requirements based on technical & commercial comparisons.

- Spend analysis to prepare rate contract for frequently procured items.

- Pricing update in SAP as per SOA

- Support to CFT at pre-bid stage for getting best techno commercial offers.

- Assist team lead in supplier rationalization to mitigate procurement risk.

- Monthly presentation of various MIS Reports, like Cost saving/ avoidance, Supplier's business.

- To give inputs for supplier performance evaluation.

- Monitoring the status of PR and arranging procurement information records in a timely manner.

- Building strategic relationships with key suppliers, achieving aggressive targets in terms of cost, quality & delivery.

- Support to Plant procurement team across India for executional activities.

- Coordinate with CFT’s for resolution of queries in timely manner.
