Role Brief:
- We are looking for an HR Operations Manager to lead, optimize, and enhance our HR processes, ensuring seamless execution of employee lifecycle management, payroll & compliance.
- As we continue to scale, this role will play a pivotal part in driving operational efficiency, standardizing HR processes, and improving employee experience.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR best practices, HRMS management and process automation, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while fostering a positive and compliant workplace environment.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Operations & Compliance:
- Oversee end-to-end employee lifecycle management, including onboarding, confirmations, exits, and retirements.
- Ensure adherence to labour laws, PF, ESIC, gratuity, and other statutory requirements.
- Own and manage payroll processing in collaboration with finance, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain HRMS, ensuring proper documentation and data integrity.
- Manage vendor relationships for payroll, benefits administration, and compliance partners.
Policy & Process Implementation:
- Develop and streamline HR processes, SOPs, and operational frameworks.
- Ensure consistent adherence to policies across teams and locations.
Employee Experience:
- Act as a point of contact for employee queries, resolving concerns related to policies, payroll, and benefits.
- Oversee HR analytics, tracking key metrics like attrition, attendance, and engagement to inform decision-making.
Team & Stakeholder Management:
- Manage and mentor the HR Operations Executive, ensuring smooth day-to-day execution.
- Collaborate with finance, legal, and leadership teams for seamless HR process execution.
- Ensure clear communication of HR policies and updates to employees.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- 4-7 years of experience in HR operations, compliance, and good to have an experience in payroll management.
- Hands-on experience with HRMS tools, prior experience working on Darwinbox will be an add on.
- Strong proficiency in advanced Excel.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead and mentor junior HR team members while driving efficiency.
- Prior experience in D2C, FMCG, or startups is a plus.
