Kapiva - Manager - Demand Planning (1-2 yrs)

About Role:

Roles and Responsibilities:

Demand Forecasting:

- Generate statistical forecasts based on historical sales trends to support demand planning and inventory management.

Vendor Management:

- Cultivate and maintain strategic partnerships with vendors.

- Collaborate with vendors for Finished Goods production with seamless Raw Materials and.

- Packaging Material supply.

- Oversee production and supply, negotiate rates, and optimize minimum order quantities for cost savings.

Demand and Supply Planning:

- Create demand and supply plans for all products and revenue teams, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.

- Employ advanced data analytics to refine plans ensuring they are responsive to evolving market conditions.

Inventory Management:

- Oversee inventory levels across multiple locations, implementing a comprehensive monitoring system.

- Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure efficient operations.

- Develop and execute a supply plan for replenishing stock, meticulously maintaining optimal levels, minimizing wastage and ensuring fulfilment.

- Lead initiatives to phase out old or inactive stocks to maintain a streamlined inventory.

- Lead projects related to MRP changes and improvements.

- Propose inventory adjustments to efficiently accommodate fluctuations in demand, ensuring seamless alignment with organizational objectives.

Reporting:

- Compile and maintain relevant reports related to the supply and demand planning process.

- Provide valuable insights derived to facilitate informed decision-making.

Risk Assessment and Mitigation:

- Proactively communicate potential supply risks to mitigate disruptions in a timely manner.

- Support management with what-if scenarios to assess and mitigate potential risks.

Product Performance Analysis:

- Identify products that are not meeting established benchmarks.

- Formulate strategic plans to either scale or delist them.

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree required (Tier 1 College : IIT / NIT / BITS / IIIT).

- At least 1 year of experience (Prior work in a start-up will be an added advantage).

- Should be adept in Advance Excel.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills (finding right data cuts to drive business metrics and create impact).
