Senior Executive - Procurement & Purchase

Job Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Review Purchase Requests (PR) and Bill of Quantities (BOQ): Evaluate purchase indents received via email for completeness and accuracy.
2. Request for Quotation (RFQ): Issue RFQs to potential suppliers and manage the quotation process.
3. Supplier Engagement: Provide detailed information, technical support, and promptly address supplier inquiries.
4. Rate Comparison (RC): Compile and analyze RC reports to aid decision-making processes.
5. Supplier Follow-up: Monitor delivery schedules and ensure timely delivery by maintaining regular communication with suppliers.
6. Payment Coordination: Ensure on-time payment processing in collaboration with the Finance department.
7. Internal Audits: Conduct and coordinate internal audits based on the Audit Schedule to ensure procurement compliance.
8. Record Management: Maintain accurate and organized purchase records for easy retrieval and reporting.
9. Cost Control: Minimize detention and demurrage charges by ensuring efficient logistics management.
10. Material Issuance: Implement and monitor proper material issuance procedures to avoid production delays.
11. Negotiation: Lead initial negotiations for direct materials, capital items, services, and expense-related purchases.
12. Non-conformity Management: Address and resolve non-conformities in delivered items, coordinating corrective actions with suppliers.
13. Vendor Payment Tracking: Monitor local credit purchase vendor payments to ensure timely settlements and maintain good supplier relationships.
