Job Title: Electrical & Maintenance Engineer

Job Description:

Overview: As an Electrical & Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the electrical maintenance activities within the organization. Your role involves managing wiring and laying for lighting, machine panel erection, maintaining HT and LT panel rooms, and ensuring compliance with electrical technical and safety norms. You will also be involved in repair and troubleshooting of various equipment, including induction motors, servo motors, welding machines, EOT cranes, CNC lathes, radial drills, conventional lathes, presses, and other machinery in the machine shop. Your expertise will extend to performing regular, preventive, and monthly maintenance activities while adhering to standard operating procedures (SOP) and ISO documentation.

Responsibilities:

Electrical Maintenance:

• Execute wiring and laying for lighting and machine panel erection.
• Maintain HT and LT panel rooms, ensuring they meet safety standards.
• Follow all electrical technical and safety norms during maintenance activities.
• Handle electrical inspections and implement necessary corrective actions.

Equipment Repair and Troubleshooting:

• Diagnose and repair issues with induction motors, servo motors, welding machines (MIG, ARC), and EOT cranes.
• Conduct troubleshooting on CNC lathes, radial drills, conventional lathes, presses, and other machinery in the machine shop.
• Ensure timely resolution of electrical and maintenance-related problems.

Preventive Maintenance:

• Develop and implement a schedule for regular, preventive, and monthly maintenance activities.
• Prepare and follow SOPs for maintenance procedures.
• Document all maintenance activities in compliance with ISO standards.

Machine Shop Expertise:

• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of machine shop machinery and its troubleshooting.
• Provide technical support to machine operators and production teams.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless production processes.

Qualifications:

• BE/Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Proven experience in electrical maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and safety protocols.
• Hands-on experience with induction motors, servo motors, welding machines, EOT cranes, CNC lathes, radial drills, conventional lathes, and presses.
• Familiarity with SOPs and ISO documentation.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
