Job Description
- Managing Legal Entity accounting and control on a monthly basis, which includes the month-end close process, parent/child accounting, equity pick-up, reviewing inter-entity breaks, and monitoring unnatural general ledger balances.
- Conducting a month-end analytical review of the legal entity to ensure the completeness and accuracy of financial statements, and preparing various reports, including contributions to the Monthly Controller s Book, as well as Legal Entity and Line of Business financial commentary and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Investigating , analyzing, and resolving issues while responding to ad-hoc queries to support financial accuracy and compliance.
- Assisting in the Booking Model review and ongoing compliance monitoring with Legal Entity Control Standards.
- Controlling intercompany activity, including providing variance commentary to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Monitoring the general ledger, including consolidation and netting, to maintain financial integrity.
- Participating in firmwide legal entity reporting projects, including infrastructure and process improvement efforts, and supporting other Controller initiatives as needed.
- Bachelor s degree required.
- Minimum 1 years experience in an analytical and financial role and should have worked experience in controllership
- Understanding of financial statement structures and US GAAP / IFRS or any local GAAP
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of Tableau and Alteryx will be an added advantage
- CA/MBA (Finance) an advantage
