Financial Reporting Specialist

Financial Reporting:

• Oversee the preparation of financial statements in compliance with IFRS.
• Track and update client deliverables
• Review and complete consolidation workbooks
• Independently drafting a variety type of financial statements, including general purpose, special purpose financial statements and directors' reports in accordance with IFRS.
• Liaise with the client to obtain additional information for financial statement preparation
• Check other information in the financial statements for consistency
• Draft compilation statements
• Draft engagement letters
• Checks the integrity of the Trial Balances, mapping documents, cash flow and other workings
• Ability to schedule and deliver on deadlines
• Complete financial statement disclosure checklists to ensure accuracy and completeness

Internal Processes

• Help develop internal controls over financial reporting preparation
• Identify areas of improvement in financial processes and implement changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy

Education:

• CA, or equivalent professional qualification.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial reporting,
• Experience with IFRS accounting standards is essential.
