Job Description
- Partner closely with the Global PMG trade co-ordination portfolio team to facilitate trade planning and creating opportunity sets.
- Conduct detailed analysis to size trades and assess platform capacity and client impact.
- Measure results versus expectation post-trade and ensure all aspects of trade appropriately documented.
- Drive innovative solutions to increase efficiency of trade coordination team as well as broader team.
- Develop a controls mindset, be able to identify control gaps in the processes and implement innovative methods of making the processes audit ready.
- Communicate and partner with the Clients and support teams both locally and globally.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Masters or Post Graduate degree with 5+ years of experience in the financial services industry, in wealth management or investment organizations.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills including data analysis and ability to understand data and data flows.
- Deep understanding of investments and ability to communicate that knowledge confidently.
- Strong independent decision-making and problem-solving abilities
- Robust, demonstrated experience with scripting languages such as Python.
- Highly competent with core MS Office applications - Excel, Access and Powerpoint. Proven advanced Excel expertise is a must.
- Proven ability to automate and improve processes using technology.
- Excellent communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate status updates and points of escalation to the broader team.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work within a dynamic environment.
- Highly disciplined, self-motivated, and delivery-focused with ability to work independently.
- Ability to synthesize information, draw logical conclusions, and present findings effectively.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- CFA would be an added advantage
- Exposure to portfolio monitoring/risk or related function
- Experience with scripting languages and/or data analysis tools like Alteryx, Tableau and VBA
- Strong problem-solving, control, and project management skills
