Job Description:
- Following and improving the wealth (listed and unlisted) product creation, curation, and review for the firm. The role involves identifying and onboarding wealth products from existing and new product tie-ups, presenting the product features, risk-reward, and portfolio suitability to the Investment Committee, reviewing the existing product portfolio (like conducting regular India-based mutual fund ranking, ETF ranking globally, PMS ranking, quarterly updating AIFs and Start-up Investments in portfolio by speaking with them and taking updates, and more).
- Responsible for maintaining and upgrading (if needed) various investment analysis software like Morningstar, ACE, etc.
- Responsible for portfolio reviews across client portfolios in coordination with the CIO and Relationship team.
- Making regular quick updates on key happenings in markets like budget, RBI monetary policy, Fed rate hike.
- Making monthly market outlook to be shared with clients.
- Based on the need identified in the reviews, identifying matching investment products on a regular basis.
- Adding and maintaining the firm's relationship across various product partners by ensuring regular meetings and reviews.
- Conducting regular product training of the RMs.
- Working on circulating wealth or market updates for client interaction.
- Working on circulating the latest trends and articles for media coverage on the wealth side.
- Strategic Global Networking: The Senior Product and Portfolio Analyst will not only engage with fund managers in Dubai and Singapore but also develop key relationships with international wealth management networks, enabling access to exclusive investment opportunities and insights that can benefit the firm's clientele.
- In-Depth Cross-Border Risk Management: Given the role's international scope, it will be crucial for the analyst to continuously assess and manage risks associated with cross-border investments. This involves understanding geopolitical, currency, and regulatory risks across different regions, ensuring that portfolios are well-positioned to handle these complexities.
- Localized Wealth Product Innovation: While traveling internationally, the Senior Product and Portfolio Analyst will have the chance to explore innovative wealth products and investment strategies available globally, which can then be adapted and customized to meet the specific needs of Indian clients.
- Market Trend and Regulatory Analysis: The role will include staying ahead of global market trends, conducting real-time analysis of economic factors, and understanding international regulatory shifts, which will be essential for advising clients on investment strategies and keeping portfolios in sync with global market movements.
- Client-Centric International Portfolio Customization: The Senior Product and Portfolio Analyst will be expected to leverage insights from both Indian and international markets to tailor and customize portfolios that suit the distinct preferences and objectives of clients across borders.
Candidate Skills and Qualification:
- Must - A professional qualification or a PG or PGDM (Min 2 years) in Finance, accountancy, business management, commerce, economics, capital markets, banking, insurance from a university recognized by any state or central government or a CFA charter from the CFA institute.
- Experience of at least 4-5 years in activities relating to advice in financial products or securities or fund or asset or portfolio management.
- Good to have clearance of NISM-Series-X-A: Investment Adviser (Level 1) & NISM-Series-X-B: Investment Adviser (Level 2) or a qualified Chartered Accountant.
- Networking Skills - Connected in the Indian wealth industry and is keen to keep regular updates on the industry on a dynamic basis.
- Analytical Skills - Capability to comprehend and present business ideas and proposals in explainable Excel models, ability to understand the nuances of existing proprietary product analysis tools and parameters and use it to get desirable review outputs on products.
- Leadership Skills - Ability to recruit and motivate existing team by providing a conducive learning environment.
