Regional Collection Manager

Job Description:

We are looking for a Regional/Zonal Collection Manager for South who can oversee collection

operations across the South regions, ensuring effective management and performance of the

collection teams. This role demands strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding

of banking/ non-banking collections.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Should carry a go getter attitude and should get deep routed at the grass root level for

achievement of the task assigned.

• Review and evaluate delinquent accounts, determining appropriate actions to be taken in

accordance with company policies and legal requirements. Communicate with customers

regarding their outstanding debts, negotiating payment plans, settlements, or other

resolutions. Coordinate and implements collection policies and procedures;

• Accountable for reducing delinquency by flow control and improve recovery rates on the

assigned Portfolio.

• Drive the performance of collections agencies through allocated officers who handle

agencies, identify areas of weaknesses, recommending solutions, and supporting the

collection team to achieve targets.

• Ensure timely allocation of cases to Collections Managers and Executives based on

Geography and Vintage.

• Ensure the collection efficiency through daily reports and regular reviews with the team.
• Strategize, forecast, drive and execute plans including the hiring plans.
• Manage a team of Collections Managers & Collections Executives attached to various

branches across the state.

• Ensure periodic audits of agencies and the in-house processes through the audit team and

compliance with processes within the Region

• Identify performance improvement areas and provide recommendations.
• Develop collection improvement initiatives based on current market trends and competitors.
• Achieves department goals and objectives daily, weekly and monthly;
• Engage with and to create a good repo between Co and the regional/ zonal merchants/

borrowers.

• Responsible for new hiring/ agency set up.
• To deliver on the financial parameters of the organization should also have product

knowledge.

Requirement & Skills:

• Candidate should be Graduate/ Post Graduate from the recognised institute.
• Candidate with at least 5+ years of experience as a Regional/ Zonal Collection Manager in

Bank / NBFCs

• Should have knowledge of NBFC/ Financial institute/ Bank products such as Personal Loan,

Segment/Category loans (Solar Rooftop/ Education/ Home Décor/ Health Care)

• Should have good interpretation skills/ communication skills region wise/ state wise
• Linguistic ability of all south regional languages such as Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam.

• Ability to deliver in high pressure, Team Management, Basic Knowledge of Legalities of SME,

Good Networking with Local Authorities

• Should be having strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of banking/

non-banking collections.
