Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to lead a team of Admission Counsellors in achieving their sales targets. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for mentoring the team, driving sales strategies, and ensuring the achievement of monthly and quarterly goals. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, a proven sales track record, and a deep understanding of the ed tech or healthcare education industry.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Team Leadership and Management:
o Lead, motivate, and guide a team of Admission Counsellors to achieve and exceed sales targets.
o Conduct regular team meetings to review performance, share updates, and address challenges.
o Provide ongoing training, coaching, and mentorship to enhance team performance.
2. Sales Strategy and Execution:
o Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet organizational goals.
o Monitor team performance and provide actionable insights to improve individual and group outcomes.
o Ensure adherence to sales processes, maintaining high standards of professionalism and customer service.
3. Target Achievement:
o Set realistic yet challenging sales targets for the team and ensure their achievement.
o Track individual and team sales performance, identifying areas for improvement.
o Develop strategies to address shortfalls and optimize results.
4. Customer Relationship Management:
o Oversee the management of customer relationships, ensuring excellent post-sale support and engagement.
o Assist the team in building and maintaining long-term relationships with healthcare professionals.
o Ensure accurate and timely updates in the CRM system.
5. Market Analysis and Strategy Development:
o Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
o Use insights to refine sales strategies and capitalize on opportunities for business growth.
o Provide feedback to senior management on market conditions and sales performance.
6. Reporting and Communication:
o Prepare and present detailed reports on team performance, sales forecasts, and market trends.
o Communicate organizational goals and updates effectively to the team.
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales efforts with overall business objectives.
Key Requirements:
Proven track record in sales management, preferably in the ed-tech, healthcare, or education sectors.
Strong leadership, motivational, and team-building skills.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Proficiency in CRM tools and data analysis.
Fluency in English and Hindi is mandatory; knowledge of regional languages is a plus.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Master's preferred).
Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, with at least 2 years in a team leadership role.
