Job Title : Manual Tester (Website and Mobile Applications)

Job Type : Full-time / Contract / Remote

Job Summary :

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Manual Tester to join our QA team. As a Manual Tester, you will be responsible for testing websites and mobile applications to ensure they meet high-quality standards. Your role will involve identifying bugs, creating test cases, and ensuring our products deliver a seamless experience for users.

Key Responsibilities :

- Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results.

- Test websites and mobile applications across multiple browsers, devices, and operating systems (iOS, Android).

- Identify, document, and track bugs using bug tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.

- Work closely with development teams to ensure that bugs are fixed and verified before deployment.

- Perform functional, regression, usability, and performance testing.

- Collaborate with the product and design teams to understand requirements and create test cases based on user stories.

- Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing to ensure a consistent user experience.

- Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and other agile ceremonies.

- Ensure all test cases and testing strategies are updated and maintained in documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Proven experience as a Manual Tester, especially in website and mobile testing.

- Knowledge of testing methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.

- Familiarity with bug-tracking tools like JIRA, Mantis, or TestRail.

- Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.

- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

- Experience with testing websites and mobile applications across different browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari) and devices (iPhone, Android).

- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles.

- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

- Familiarity with tools like Postman for API testing (optional but preferred).

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with automation tools like Selenium, Appium (optional but a plus).

- Knowledge of mobile app distribution platforms (App Store, Google Play) and how to test apps within them.

- Experience with SQL or scripting for data validation.

- ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus.
