Key skills for the job
The Incumbent will be responsible for-
To develop and guide annual business plans for all group businesses, track business and performance. Recommend improvements in case of deviations from goal. Aggressively work with Senior Leadership of Business to meet budget and vision.
Role Accountabilities-
Planning and research-
1. Work closely with business heads to conceptualize and develop annual business and execution plans that align with groups goals and strategic priorities
2. Actively monitor industry trends, sector innovations, competitor movements and market and economic dynamics and incorporate the insights to business plans
3. Develop and establish metrics required to measure business performance, and develop mechanism for identification and resolution of any potential challenges
Business performance - Review and reporting-
1. Develop dashboards, generate reports, perform extensive data analytics to support Senior Management in decision making by making reference facts and figures readily accessible
2. Construct data-driven statistical and financial models to forecast business performance and support in decision making
3. Make recommendations on business implications and next steps, influence Company leadership and business units using data analysis, modeling/scenario planning and external research
4. Participate with Chairman in review meetings. Prepare key discussion points in advance for CMD.
Investment and Alliances-
1. Work with business heads on feasibility and financial analysis of new products and markets to pursue
2. Spearhead financial analysis. Details analysis on capex and payback, due diligence for new businesses and potential partnerships. Evaluate financial business implications and ROI from the potential deal. Preference to have experience on valuation of company & acquisition areas.
Stakeholder management-
1. Define review and governance meetings as per set schedule with agenda finalization & MOMs and ensure compliance to the same, follow up to ensure completion of the decided actionable
2.Coordinate with business heads and functional heads to design the business plan and monitor the performance as per set KPIs to achieve operational and financial targets
