JOB Description:


Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Development Manager specializing in the minerals sector to join our team in the East region of India. With over 10 years of expertise in sales and business development, particularly in mineral product testing, you will lead our efforts to capture new business, build strong client relationships, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, particularly in mineral product testing, and drive substantial growth in our mineral sales. This role requires a proactive, results-oriented leader with a passion for expanding market share and delivering innovative solutions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Market Expansion: Develop and execute strategies to drive revenue growth, generate leads, and acquire new clients in the minerals sector.
  • Client Management: Build long-term relationships with clients, providing solutions based on mineral product expertise and testing results.
  • Compliance & Regulation: Ensure all products and services comply with local and international industry regulations and standards.
  • Product Expertise: In-depth knowledge of minerals such as Coke, Iron, Ferro Alloys, and others.
  • Revenue Growth: Achieve sales targets, optimize pricing strategies, and expand the companies presence in the market.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Track sales performance, manage pipelines, and provide regular updates to leadership on progress and market trends.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelors degree in Geology, Mining Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 10+ years of business development and sales experience in the minerals or mining industry.
  • Strong understanding of mineral product testing, industry compliance, and regulations.
  • Proven success in achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and client management skills.

Desired Skills:


  • Experience with complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes in the minerals or mining industry.
  • Strong leadership abilities with a track record of building and motivating high-performing sales teams.
  • Fluency in regional languages and knowledge of local market dynamics is an advantage.
