Job Description

Role & responsibilities:

1. Lead Management and Generation:


  • Identify and qualify potential leads in the institutional business segment.
  • Utilize market intelligence to identify high-potential opportunities.

2. Database and Social Media Optimization:


  • Leverage tools such as LinkedIn, Government eMarketplace (GeM), and Lusha to generate contacts and leads.
  • Research prospective clients and maintain up-to-date records of key decision-makers.

3. Sales Tracking and Appointment Setting:


  • Maintain a comprehensive sales tracker to monitor leads and progress.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments for the Business Development team with prospective clients.

4. SMART Tool Management and Lead Handover:


  • Utilize SMART tools effectively for tracking and managing the sales funnel.
  • Ensure seamless handover of qualified leads to the Business Development team for further engagement.

5. Collaboration and Reporting:


  • Collaborate with the Regional Head and Business Development team to align on priorities and strategies.
  • Provide regular updates on lead generation activities and outcomes.

Preferred candidate profile:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a pre-sales, lead generation, or similar role, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry.
  • Proficiency in using lead generation tools such as LinkedIn, GeM, and Lusha.
  • Strong research and analytical skills to identify and qualify leads.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for appointment setting and client interactions.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tracking tools is a plus.
