Role & responsibilities

• Ensure the collection, preparation, and analysis of samples, maintaining product quality and safety standards, while adhering to food safety, health, and safety regulations.
• Monitor and manage critical control points (CCPs) and implement operational prerequisite programs (OPRP) to ensure compliance with food safety standards.
• Perform routine physical, chemical, and biological analyses, interpret data, and ensure product quality through testing and monitoring of processes.
• Oversee laboratory equipment maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting, ensuring accurate testing and compliance with quality control procedures.
• Maintain inventory management, prepare solutions, dispose of waste properly, and contribute to continuous process improvement to meet performance indicators.

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience: A minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience in the field is required. FMCG experience is an added advantage.
• Language: Good English communication
