Beverage Equipment Technician

Role & responsibilities:

• Installation of Equipment:
  
• Set up and install post-mix beverage dispensers, pumps, and carbonators.
• Ensure proper plumbing and electrical connections for efficient operation.
• Test the equipment after installation to ensure proper functionality.

• Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
  
• Perform routine maintenance to ensure the dispensers are working efficiently.
• Diagnose and repair issues with dispensers, carbonation systems, pumps, and lines.
• Clean the equipment regularly to prevent blockages and contamination.
• Check and replace components such as filters, hoses, and pumps as needed.

• Syrup and Carbonate Management:
  
• Ensure the correct mixing ratios of syrup and carbonated water for the right taste.
• Monitor the syrup levels, order more when needed, and ensure proper storage.
• Maintain proper pressure in the carbonation system.

• Customer Service:
  
• Offer support and guidance to customers on how to use the equipment.
• Respond to customer inquiries or issues with the post-mix systems in a timely manner.
• Provide training to staff on how to properly operate and maintain the equipment.

• Quality Control:
  
• Monitor drink quality to ensure that the correct ratios and carbonation levels are maintained.
• Test drinks for taste, ensuring that the products are being dispensed as per the standard.

• Compliance & Safety:
  
• Ensure all equipment meets health and safety regulations.
• Follow food safety protocols during maintenance and installation.
• Stay updated with any relevant industry standards, regulations, or safety procedures.

• Record Keeping and Inventory:
  
• Keep track of inventory levels for syrup, carbonators, and other materials.
• Maintain service logs and report any equipment issues to supervisors or managers.
• Order parts and supplies as needed to ensure continued service.
